WHAT IS “VICTOR’S PLANNING GROUP (VPG)?”

VICTOR’S PLANNING GROUP (VPG) was established to assist individuals and organizations, small or individual-owned businesses, Non-governmental Organizations (NGO), and Non-profit organizations, to develop skills in strategic thinking and strategic planning.

STRATEGIC PLANNING:

While it is largely recognized as important to have a plan on the shelf for focusing collective operations, it is just as important, if not more so, to master the “how” of the planning process.  Understanding the key components of the planning process enables the planning team to function in either a time-sensitive or more deliberate tempo of planning.  You will learn how to arrange and prioritize key tasks to intentionally generate synergy.  Since this skill requires a level of understanding beyond familiarity, it should be a focused training effort.

STRATEGIC THINKING:

Strategic Thinking is NOT Strategic Planning but to many, because the terms have been loosely interchanged, they have become almost indistinguishable.  Some strategic plans that have been developed by non-strategic thinkers are inevitably doomed to fizzle, to fall apart, or to fail.  The strategic thinker is often marginalized, minimized, or vilified but every growing organization needs the vision, focus, energy, enthusiasm, and creativity they provide.  The good news is that it is possible to develop the skill set of a strategic thinker, the most important skill being multidimensional thinking.
